JPEG/JPG

  • Widely used image format and normally RGB format which reduces color spectrum
  • May lower in quality when compressed and saved
  • Best used for: Images, online photos

TIFF

  • Stands for Tagged Image File Format
  • A file format designed to handle raster or bitmapped images
  • Typically used in photography and desktop publishing
  • Best used for: High-quality photos  printing

PDF

  • Short for Portable Document Format
  • Used for print production files and web-based documents
  • Save out of design program without compression, embed fonts or outline fonts, CMYK or Pantone Colors

Excel Files are needed for the data used in a variable data order such as a:

  • Mailing List
  • Distribution List
  • Personalized items/orders

PNG files are not an acceptable file for quality printing. If you submit a PNG file the order is considered a print as is quality.
